Peruvian law enforcement officers continue to organize masquerade raids on criminals who themselves open the doors to "funny animators."
Peruvian police officers have organized another operation to catch criminals using an officer dressed in a non-regulation uniform. This time, the law enforcement officer was dressed in a capybara costume.
As noted by the police, the disguise tactic worked successfully. The suspect himself opened the door to the police officer dressed as a capybara, after which he was detained in his home. It is noted that 1,700 packages of illegal substances (cocaine and marijuana) were found on the detainee.
The operation took place in the city of Lurín, not far from the capital Lima. The action, as the police said, was timed to coincide with Valentine's Day - this is hinted at by the green backpack with hearts on the "capybara's" back.
We will add that the Peruvian police periodically organize actions with the participation of disguised officers. This has already become a tradition. Obviously, such actions are carefully planned so that the disguised policeman does not get a bullet during the arrest (with the level of crime in the republic, this is not surprising). For example, in December last year, the "Green Squadron" unit arrested drug dealers with the help of a policeman disguised as the Grinch.
