Just Stop Oil are climate environmental activists who advocate for saving the planet and preserving its resources.
Environmental activists Just Stop Oil poured paint over Stonehenge during the solstice holiday. Activists ran around the stones, shouting and waving paint sticks. They were quickly detained. Stonehenge is already open to visitors. The management of the historical complex stated that the stones are in order.
“Fortunately, there is no visible damage, but this does not mean that it did not suffer damage - from the process of cleaning the stones to the pain that the vandals caused to those for whom Stonehenge has spiritual significance,” the organization summed up, writes the Daily Mail.
On June 20, the same Just Stop Oil activists poured paint on Taylor Swift's personal plane. They sneaked onto the airfield and sprayed yellow paint from fire cylinders onto the hull of the ship. After that, they sat down on the ground and hugged each other.
With their protests, activists are trying to force companies to abandon fossil fuels in order to save the planet.
