Bugatti presented an exclusive hypercar Brouillard on the Chiron platform (12 photos)
The new model was built in a single copy for a collector from Holland
The Bugatti company has declassified the mysterious new model, announced several days ago. It turned out to be a hypercar with its own name Brouillard: it is based on the Chiron platform and will remain the only one of its kind. The coupe became the debut model of the new Bugatti Solitaire direction, within the framework of which the company expects to produce unique cars for the most devoted and wealthy connoisseurs.
Brouillard vaguely resembles the W16 Mistral roadster, but mainly in some nuances of the front end design and lighting equipment. The hypercar has smoother body lines, and the aerodynamic plumage has become more aggressive and pronounced. Flaps have appeared on the wheel arches and sills, and two air intakes are located on the roof. The front pillars are darkened, creating a "floating" effect. A symbolic stripe runs along the entire body, including the transparent roof.
The Brouillard's stern is made slightly more elongated than that of the Mistral, although the lights are definitely borrowed from the roadster. Large rear wheel arches flow into a fixed "ducktail" spoiler. In addition, the Brouillard has its own exhaust configuration.
The name Brouillard refers to the name of Ettore Bugatti's favorite racehorse. The interior of the hypercar is designed in accordance with this: horse silhouettes are embroidered on the door panels, and a glass element with a themed statuette installed inside is built into the aluminum transmission selector. The interior is trimmed in green leather and carbon fiber, the checkered fabric for the hypercar was specially woven in Paris. The seats are made taking into account the body structure of the Brouillard customer - the owner of the largest Bugatti collection in the world, Dutchman Michel Perridon.
Both the Chiron platform and the 1,600-horsepower W16 remained unchanged. This is the strategy of the Solitaire division, which will be a kind of body shop building unique cars on existing platforms. They are planned to be released no more than twice a year. The price of Brouillard is not specified.
