Bugatti showed the latest example of the Chiron hypercar (8 photos)

Bugatti has published images of the latest Chiron hypercar for a Canadian customer. At the same time, the company specifically stipulated that for now we are only talking about completing the production of the basic version of the model with a 1,500 horsepower engine.





The final Bugatti Chiron is made in a combination of black and copper shades. According to Motor1, a hypercar was built for Bilal Haidri, an oil and gas businessman from Calgary. He ordered the car back in November 2021, paying at least $3 million.

The manufacturer announced the end of accepting orders for all available modifications of the Chiron at the beginning of 2022, having allocated all production slots. However, a year later, an unregistered new hypercar was put up for auction - the unique Chiron Profilee, which the company assembled in a single copy. They paid $9,792,500 for it, excluding taxes and fees.

The appearance of the latest Chiron does not mean the end of production of hypercars on this platform with the W16 engine. The company has yet to complete the assembly of other remaining modifications - for example, the Chiron Pur Sport models, as well as the Mistral roadster, which was presented in 2022 as the brand's last road model with this power unit.

In addition, Bugatti will have to assemble 40 copies of the Bolide model - a track coupe, which differs from the base Chiron both in the design of the body and interior, and in the engine, boosted to 1600 horsepower.

The company has already prepared, at least in draft form, a successor to the Chiron - a hypercar of a new model, the power unit for which was developed together with Rimac specialists. According to some reports, the car has already been shown to selected clients, but its official premiere will take place only in the spring of this year. It is expected that the company will abandon the branded W16.
