Bugatti has published full-fledged images of the hypercar Bolide, which is just being prepared for serial assembly in the amount of 40 pieces. The car has already entered the stage of dynamic sea trials. First Bolide introduced as a concept back in 2020





As far as can be judged from the photo, the "conveyor" Bolide as a whole retain the style of the prototype with many unusual elements aerodynamic plumage. However, for road cars it is slightly will rework: change the configuration of some components, increase the number air intakes and the like.

In addition to a completely new body Bolide will differ from base Bugatti Chiron suspension settings, interior design and, possibly engine kickback. Engineers are working on improved handling, as well as over weight reduction.

The Bugatti Bolide is designed for racing tracks and may not get access to public roads. At the same time, he can be both the most powerful and lightest coupe on the Chiron platform. The premiere prototype was equipped with an 1850-horsepower version of the proprietary eight-liter W16, which should have allowed the Bolide to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.17 seconds at a top speed of 500 km/h.

However, later the company derated the motor to the standard 1600 hp to save hypercar owners from having to look for racing fuel. What version of the power unit will receive the serial car is yet to be determined.

Bugatti will build only 40 Bolide units. All of them were sold out a few years ago at a price of 4 million euros. And in October 2021 Bolide was named the most beautiful hypercar in the world.
