Waking up a turtle after hibernation
A man showed how he wakes up his turtle after 5 months of hibernation in the refrigerator.
Many turtles hibernate for the winter. At home, this is not necessary, but properly organized wintering can extend the life of the pet, reduce stress and improve metabolism. A refrigerator is often used for this.
When coming out of hibernation, it is important to warm the turtle gradually so that it wakes up gently. Then it is bathed, restoring the water balance, and fed. After all this, the turtle is ready to explore the world again.
A network user writes:
Our turtle lives outside, in the garden. Previously, we also put it in the refrigerator, but one late autumn it simply disappeared. It turned out that the turtle itself burrowed into the ground, and since then we just let it do everything its own way. Now it is always a small pleasant surprise when it suddenly appears in the spring.
