The Americans showed their "Zeekr". 1014 electric power (15 photos)
At the CES electronics exhibition, which takes place in Las Vegas, the American startup Mullen showed the public a charged electric crossover called Five RS. The company claims that their electric car will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds, and the top speed will be 322 km/h. It is expected that the model will appear on the roads in mid-2026.
The car with a very interesting appearance and advanced aerodynamics has a length of 4902 mm and a wheelbase of 2946 mm. And it is driven by a 1014-horsepower (1151 Nm) power plant, consisting of two electric motors, a 2-speed gearbox and a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh. The promised range is 483 kilometers, and thanks to the 800-volt architecture, the electric car can replenish the battery to 80% in 20 minutes.
The Mullen Five RS interior is designed for four people and attracts attention with atmospheric lighting, a pair of large displays that form the dashboard and media complex, as well as an unusual driving mode selector. Mullen decided to make it in the form of buttons on the central part of the front panel, and use the free space on the console to accommodate a pair of wireless chargers. The Five RS is equipped with an extensive range of auxiliary electronics, including a facial recognition system and a personal assistant.
Five RS is not Mullen's only project. The automaker also offers customers a line of electric commercial vehicles like the Mullen One and Three. However, these cars are nothing more than converted “Chinese” ones. One is the G100 from Wuling Motors, for example.
