The Chinese presented a 1305-horsepower electric car (27 photos)
HiPhi A, a full-size business-class electric car produced by a joint venture between Dongfeng and Kia, has an extremely unusual design with interesting engineering solutions. The top modification is capable of accelerating to hundreds in 2 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 300 km/h.
Impressive dynamic performance is achieved thanks to a three-engine power plant with a total power of 1305 horsepower. The battery capacity and range have not been announced, but it is known that the electric supercar is built around an 800-volt architecture.
The electric vehicle's chassis is fully controlled with steering rear wheels and adaptive shock absorbers. The brakes are carbon ceramic with massive calipers.
On the outside, the HiPhi A is distinguished by a more developed aerodynamic body kit, a wider track of the front and rear wheels, different rims, the absence of lidar on the roof, and decor made from TC4 titanium alloy, commonly used in the aerospace and medical industries. The interior of the charged HiPhi has been transformed due to new seats and the widespread use of compressed carbon fiber combined with titanium in the finishing.
The cost of the new product has not yet been announced. HiPhi will not enter the market until 2025, but it is already known what it will have to compete with. One of the main rivals of the electric car will be the charged 1265-horsepower Zeekr 001 FR with similar acceleration dynamics and a price starting from 769,000 yuan or 100 thousand dollars.
