300 Cars from the GM Classic Car Graveyard to Be Auctioned (6 photos)
An open-air auction will be held in the United States for cars from the 1950s and 1960s. 
A large private collection of classic General Motors cars, assembled over a long period on a private property in Fremont, Nebraska, will be auctioned in the United States. The cars are mostly in poor condition, but some are quite valuable.
The auction is being organized by VanDerBrink Auctions. The official date for the event is set for October 3, 2026, with bidders able to participate both in person and online.
A total of approximately 300 vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s are planned for sale. Of these, approximately 250 are Chevrolet Impalas of various years and models: coupes, sedans, station wagons, and related pickup trucks, including the El Camino, are represented.
Also up for sale will be rare Chevrolet Chevelles, several Corvette sports cars, and a line of Chevrolet C/K-series pickups from 1967–1972.
The lots range in condition from complete, running vehicles ready for use, to unfinished restoration projects, and rare examples that can only serve as donors for original parts.
