56 rare white Porsche sports cars will be sold at auction (10 photos)
In early December, 56 rare Porsche cars will be put up for auction at Sotheby's London auction. It is noteworthy that they are all white. In addition to cars, other equipment and artifacts associated with the company will be presented. In total, the collection includes 556 lots.
The collection consists mainly of Porsche 911 from different years of production: almost all generations of the iconic sports car are represented in the selection. The most recent car is the limited edition Heritage Design 911 Targa, released in 2021; the oldest was built in 1965.
However, the collection also includes older Porsches - for example, several 356s in different bodies and specifications from the late 1950s, as well as a 1953 example. In addition to them, the collection includes models with indexes 914, 924, 928 and 944 and even two Porsche tractors (but they are red).
It is expected that the most expensive lot will be the 918 Spyder with the optional Weissah package in a unique design, for which they plan to earn up to $3 million. Among the Porsche 911s, the top-rated 1993 Carrera RSR 3.8 coupe is one of only two RSR Strassenversions produced and the last of a production run of 51 cars. The rarity's mileage is 70 kilometers, which sets price expectations in the range from 2 to 2.5 million dollars.
In addition to Porsche equipment, the collection includes several custom cars, many accessories (clothing, furniture and jewelry), children's cars, bicycles, helmets, audio equipment and much more.
