Petey approaches the stall and calls Luna with a loud bray. According to the owners, the mare cannot see, and the familiar donkey helps her navigate. When Luna comes out, Petey walks ahead of her; another horse follows them out.
On the creator's channel, this morning scene is described just like that: Petey wakes Luna up and then leads her out of the stable. The donkey is referred to there as her guide—without any claims of special training or official status.
