Pagani Unveils the New Zonda Seven Years After Production Ended (8 photos)
The project is estimated to cost around $10 million.
Pagani, known for its supercars, has unveiled a new version of the Zonda model, dubbed the Cervino. This unique example is built on the customer's existing chassis as part of the Unico program. The company officially ended production of this supercar back in 2019.
The Zonda Cervino is known to be based on another unique model, the Zonda Oliver Evolution, which was created in 2017 at the special request of a Tokyo-based collector. This build was essentially a road-legal version of the Zonda R racing car and featured, for example, a huge two-piece rear wing.
While retaining the chassis design, Pagani designed a new body for the supercar, preserving the model's recognizable features but making the aerodynamics much less aggressive. The interior was refinished. The suspension received new shock absorbers, which, according to the official statement, bring the Zonda's handling closer to modern standards—Pagani introduced this model 27 years ago.
The company hasn't released any information about the Zonda Cervino's powertrain, but the original supercar was equipped with a 7.3-liter V12 tuned to 760 hp.
