A Two-Wheeled Bugatti Without an Engine, But Priced Like a Car (9 photos)
Bugatti unveiled a sports bike, developed in collaboration with Factor Bikes and dubbed the Factor One. Only 250 of these two-wheelers will be produced, priced at $23,599. In the US, that's the price of a Toyota Corolla. 
The bike's high price is explained by both its advanced technology and the abundance of cutting-edge materials used in its construction. For example, the Factor One's frame is made of carbon fiber and is optimized for aerodynamics.
Carbon fiber is used in the front sprocket, some pedal components, and wheel rims, which together weigh just 1,298 grams. Continental developed tires specifically for this new model. A saddle was also designed specifically for the Factor One.
The two-wheeler's design combines dark shades with Bugatti's signature blue color. Another color from the hypercar manufacturer's palette is used to embellish the frame with the company name. Finally, the bike is adorned with one of Bugatti's most famous symbols, the "Dancing Elephant."
