A woman stole food from a restaurant using someone else's used receipt

A woman approached the Vietnamese restaurant "Char Char" in Sydney, Australia, and chatted briefly with the staff.

But the conversation was merely a distraction, as the stranger had set her sights on a box of used receipts and secretly stole one. The enterprising woman then walked away from the counter, waited 10 minutes, and returned. This time, showing the staff the other woman's receipt, she angrily asked where her order was. The staff could only apologize and quickly prepare the woman's meal—presumably the one she'd ordered, but in fact, stolen.

The scheme was only discovered later, thanks to CCTV footage. It is unknown whether the police were notified of the incident. Particularly striking is the woman's calm demeanor and the fact that she was dressed very respectably. It is suspected that she regularly carries out similar schemes.
