Rare Ferrari FXX K Evo with Less Than 100 Kilometers to Be Auctioned (10 photos)
Bidding for the Ferrari FXX K Evo supercar has just opened at the Retromobile auction in Paris. Essentially, this is an extreme modification of the LaFerrari, which, despite having private owners, Ferrari used to explore new technical solutions. This example, which has traveled less than 100 kilometers since 2018, is expected to sell for between €5.5 and €6.5 million. 
The FXX K variant of the LaFerrari appeared in 2015. This coupe is equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a 6.3-liter V12 producing 1,050 hp and features a track-focused chassis and aerodynamic setup. It is believed that Ferrari never handed over these supercars to their owners, storing them for regular research, and customers were only able to drive them on racetracks during special events organized by the company. Each car was equipped with a full suite of telemetry equipment.
The Evo variant of the FXX K appeared in 2017, differing primarily in its revised aerodynamics, which increased its efficiency by 23%. The supercar's weight was reduced by 90 kilograms. According to some estimates, only about a dozen of these modernized supercars were produced (including the one for sale), although the total production run of this generation of FXX is approximately 40 cars.
The owner of this coupe hasn't driven it himself, only owning it, and all the odometer readings were recorded by Ferrari engineers. In 2024, he paid for a full maintenance service for the supercar at the Maranello facility, spending approximately $30,000.
