One of the world's first Tesla electric cars was found in Ukraine (4 photos)
A real “time capsule” has been spotted in Ukraine – the first generation Tesla Roadster in the Sport version. The car looks as if it has just arrived from the last decade, because before that, almost no one had seen it on the roads of our country.
This electric sports car once became a legend: a compact coupe based on the Lotus Elise with a battery instead of a gas tank and a Tesla nameplate instead of the classic British logo. For 2008–2012, it was a real revolution that laid the foundation for all modern Model S, 3, X and Y.
By the way, old man, are you here? Because back during Yushchenko's presidency, there was a similar instance in Dnipro. One of the local millionaires brought a Tesla Roadster to his collection - at that time it seemed like fantasy, because electric cars on our streets were almost mythical creatures.
So now that another Roadster Sport has been found in Ukraine, we can say that the history of electric cars in our country has much deeper roots than it seems at first glance. Watch the video of the Tesla Roadster on the Telegram channel TopZhir
