Helping others find love: after 2,000 unsuccessful dates, a man opened a dating agency (2 photos)

A Japanese man spent four years trying to meet girls, but all his attempts were unsuccessful. Having gained experience in communication, the man opened his own dating agency, where he consults people who have encountered difficulties in love.





Eight years ago, the man began searching for his partner and contacted several marriage agencies. However, over the course of four years and almost 2,000 unsuccessful blind dates, he faced numerous rejections. He explains his difficulties by the fact that he is an only child in the family, lives with his parents and, having a master's degree, earns little.

The 44-year-old Shizuoka Prefecture resident said his annual income was about 3.5 million yen (US$23,000), about half the amount women looking to meet men expect when they fill out dating agency profiles.



In addition, Yoshio lived with his parents because his work was nearby. Therefore, many women perceived him as a "mama's boy" and refrained from pursuing relationships.

Each experience, especially the unsuccessful ones, the man considered a valuable lesson, since in this way he honed his skills in communication, decision-making and planning dates.

However, he saw his future wife on a dating app. The woman liked his sincerity and hard work, and that he admired her independence and strong sense of responsibility. After a year of dating, they got married, and later had a child.

Yoshio then founded the Yoshio Marriage Laboratory, a dating agency that provides free consultations to people who are facing difficulties in love and marriage.

It is noted that in Japan, many people remain single due to financial problems. According to the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research, in Tokyo, 32% of men and 23% of women over 50 have never been married.
