I present to you a selection of interesting photographs from the USA, which were taken throughout the 20th century. All photographs are colorized.

The first street cleaning machines appeared in England in the mid-19th century.
In 1911, John M. Murphy designed a motor-driven street cleaning machine on paper. It took another couple of years to complete this project, and in 1913 they managed to assemble what we see in the picture.
