“If you are beautiful, you don’t need to pay rent”: an Australian woman has figured out how to live without rent and obligations (4 photos + 1 video)
Emily Webb, 25, was unable to find housing due to the national housing crisis, but then realized there was an upside to being homeless. If you are a young pretty girl.
Emily Webb applied for rental housing multiple times, but was never able to find an apartment. In Australia, renting available square meters is a real lottery, in which not everyone is lucky.
"I offered to pay six and 12 months' rent in advance, but I still had no luck," she tells news.com.au, saying she was willing to pay about $1000 a week.
All this time, Webb spent the night with friends or in her car, and then she simply started meeting guys on the Hinge app - and closed the problem of homelessness for herself. Since then, Webb has said that "if you're beautiful, you won't have to pay rent."
She doesn't pay. She can live in the guys' house for one or several days. On average, she goes on dates three times a week, and if she can’t find the right guy, she can always spend the night with friends or in her car. The girl says that the latter does not bother her at all.
She's just surprised she didn't think of this ingenious way to avoid spending on rent before.
True, not everyone supports Webb in her endeavors (just read the comments) - the girl has already faced hate, but for now she lives like this, and everything suits her.
