Our planet is full of treasures, many of which are closer than it seems. For example, 53-year-old Malcolm Wheal found a gold mourning ring from the 18th century using a metal detector. Now the artifact is on display at the British Museum. Old treasures can be found in your grandmother's house, at a flea market or garage sale. If you are interested in antiques, then this collection will appeal to you!

My mother showed the ring to the jeweler. He said it was gold with two large diamonds. Each stone is a carat.
