What kind of captivity is this? In Israel, the owner of the apartment demanded payment from a girl taken hostage (4 photos)
Because captivity is not a reason for a delay.
Inbar Hayman lives in Haifa and rents an apartment with a friend. Unfortunately, the girl ended up at the same music festival in Reim, after which the student went missing. Hyman was later identified as one of the other hostages taken prisoner. Now 27-year-old Inbar is supposedly in Gaza, but there are no details about her fate.
However, this story would be one of many, if not for one nuance. Recently, a roommate received a message from her landlord, Aaron Reiss, demanding payment of rent. Inbar’s friend told the owner of the apartment about the tragic circumstances and asked for a deferment, to which she received the answer: either give the entire amount for yourself and your neighbor - 2,500 shekels (about $600), or look for another companion.
Mordechai Alon, the father of the missing girl's boyfriend, shared the story on social media and it went viral.

Mordechai Alon was beside himself with rage.

More than 2.6 thousand commenters commented on his post and shared the man’s anger.
After this story was published, the journalists, of course, wanted to talk to the same greedy apartment owner. He told the press that he did not understand what was going on at all. He says that he did not send all these messages and does not expect a shekel from the missing girl, but simply hopes that she will return home safe and sound.
Meanwhile, having learned that the girl and her boyfriend were fans of the local football club, Maccabi FC offered to pay the rent for a year.
I wonder if the landlord will take this money? Rumor has it that he is even going to hire a lawyer to protect his honor and dignity.
