The Indonesian President's cat, Bobby Kertanegara, has become an internet star - a video of his personal security escorting the cat along the red carpet has gone viral on social media.





In response to criticism from local residents, President Prabowo Subianto said that the cat is part of the presidential family, so such security is simply a necessity.

Bobby is now happily living in the presidential palace in Jakarta, although in 2017 he was an ordinary street cat.
