A 207-Centimeter-Tall Monk Claims His Love of Milk (2 photos + 1 video)
Many young men had gathered at the recruiting station in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, but Phra Chakrit was particularly eye-catching. 
It wasn't even that the man was a monk and wore monastic robes. It was that Phra is 207 centimeters tall. People around him were surprised, admired, gasped, and even asked to take photos with the monk (he readily granted them). As for his height, Phra is certain it's because of his love of milk. Since childhood, he loved milk so much that he even gave up water in favor of it. 
Phra's parents came to the recruiting station with him, declaring that if their son wanted to serve in the army, they would support him. But the monk's conscription ended before it even began. By the time his turn came, the required quota for the required number of conscripts had already been filled.
