About Graffiti Artists (3 photos)
Observations that shattered my convictions.
Having lived in this world for many years, I firmly believed that only snot-nosed teenagers daubed the city walls on dark nights.
But as often happens in life, chance radically changed my beliefs.
One day, city services officially gave permission to paint the wall under the bridge, next to the bike path, and I happened to witness the graffiti artists at their "creative work."
Impressive was my surprise when I saw mature, balding, and even graying, males well into their thirties.
I don't know what drives these people, but their level of intelligence was easy to discern from their conversations and the music that always accompanies this "creative" process.
These guys exclusively listen to rap while drinking beer, and the lowest-quality version of that so-called music at that.
Everything would be fine if their creative impulses were limited to the walls under the bridge. But unfortunately, the aerosol daubers are destroying building facades, trash cans, benches, bus stops, train cars, and even sidewalks. Slowly but surely, the city is turning into the set for a utopian film about the decline of human civilization. Remarkably, neither city services nor the police are doing anything to prevent or eliminate this colorful bacchanalia.
I fear the day will soon come when cars will also fall victim to these atrocities.
PS
Having recently visited China, I was pleasantly surprised by the absence of this obscenity there.
In fact, there are also pockets of Europe where this disease has not yet reached epidemic proportions.
Haven't bought it yet...
Finally.

Experts from Oxford have found a direct link between musical preferences and intelligence. They conducted a study that found that rap fans are more intelligent than jazz listeners.
Many have long suspected that a love of a certain style of music could indicate intelligence. But now scientists have proven this connection, according to the study "Intelligence, Musical Preference, and Music Use from an Evolutionary Psychological Perspective." About 500 high school students participated in the experiment. They shared what music they listened to and then took an IQ test.
It turned out that teenagers with high IQs preferred classical music and jazz. Rock fans also performed well. However, almost all the young rap fans failed the IQ test.
