A 32-year-old Czech citizen, Alex Yemer, was arrested for attempting to set fire to a motorcycle dealership in the Peruvian city of Cusco. He claims he had previously purchased a motorcycle from the dealership and discovered it had ignition problems. He twice contacted the dealership to request repairs, but was refused. Afterward, he decided to take revenge.
The incident resulted in the owner's wife and two children, who were staying overnight in the building. All sustained minor injuries. The arsonist also suffered burns to his hands and partially damaged his motorcycle. Local police quickly apprehended him, and he has now been charged. The investigation is ongoing.
