In Russia, attackers tried to set fire to the same apartment twice

Both times the arsonist tried to use tires, but he failed.

Police officers from the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region are investigating the case of two very strange arsonists who tried to set fire to the same apartment in the village of Novoye Devyatkino. The first arson attempt occurred on January 6. Then the unknown person set fire to the tire and disappeared. The fire did not reach the door, as it turned out to be metal. The second arson attempt occurred on January 22. The man again tried to set fire to the apartment using a tire. However, the flammable liquid did not ignite, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

Both suspects were detained. One of them stated that he carried out the order for money. For his performance he was offered 5 thousand rubles. The investigation is ongoing. Police officers are taking measures to identify who ordered the crime.
