London is one of the most dangerous places to take your phone. Statistics show that one phone is stolen there every 14 minutes. The scheme is simple: motorcyclists and cyclists simply snatch it from people's hands. In an attempt to reduce theft, the government decided to paint sidewalk signs with the warning "Caution! Phone Theft Danger Zone." The effectiveness of this measure is still questionable; it has had little impact on theft statistics.
