Tourists washed away by a giant wave in Spain

An eyewitness captured video of a giant wave swept several tourists off a pier. The incident occurred on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
According to SHOT, a 79-year-old woman died as a result of the incident. Ten more people were injured to varying degrees.
Powerful waves, 4.5 meters high, also occurred in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Two more men were killed by the waves. Prior to the incidents, authorities in the Canary Islands issued a severe weather warning.
