The footage shows the reptile struggling and tumbling in the water, while the specialist uses a pole to hold it down. Despite the animal's resistance, the man managed to pull the alligator out and safely remove it from the property.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, an alligator is considered dangerous if it is longer than 1.2 meters or poses a threat to people and pets. Even small specimens sometimes have to be removed if they end up in residential areas, including swimming pools and garages.

Specialists also reminded residents that they should never try to catch alligators on their own, as it is dangerous and illegal. In such cases, they should call a hotline, where the request will be forwarded to licensed hunters.
