Australian woman finds deadly snake by her bed (2 photos + 1 video)
A woman in Australia found one of the most venomous snakes in the world next to her bed.
The woman found the reptile in her bedroom and immediately called a specialist. Snake catcher Mark Pelley examined the snake and decided to film it. It shows the reptile curled up behind the bedside table, and then almost crawled under the bed. After filming, the catcher successfully caught the snake and released it into the wild.
Pelly determined that the snake that had crawled into the woman's bed was a tiger snake, one of the most venomous snakes in the world. The neurotoxins in its venom immobilize its prey, and the anticoagulants cause bleeding.
