A moment before the tragedy: a deadly snake in the bedroom scared the owners of the house

The Cape cobra is considered one of the deadliest reptiles in South Africa. Snake catcher Emile Rossouw pulled the dangerous animal right out of the bed of the owners of the house.

Professional snake catcher Emile Rossouw from Stellenbosch Snake Removals was called to help, and he quickly pulled the reptile out of its hiding place. The incident was recorded on video and published on the company's social networks.

Rossouw, commenting on the situation, noted: "Not something you would want in your bed," holding the dangerous animal in his hands.

The publication notes that the Cape cobra is considered one of the deadliest snakes in South Africa. According to the African Snakebite Institute, it leads in the number of fatalities along with the black mamba.

Fortunately, Rossouw's intervention prevented a possible tragedy, but the incident once again reminds us of the need to be careful in regions where such dangerous reptiles are found.
