Footage taken by eyewitnesses shows the man standing on the runway in front of the aircraft. According to reports, he stood there for about a minute before an airport employee approached him and pulled him aside. The man was later detained by security officers and handed over to the police.

The publication notes that today, March 4, he may be formally charged.

This incident was not the only violation of aviation security in recent times. Earlier, on February 7, a passenger on Iberia flight IB578 in Paris attacked a flight attendant, opened the emergency exit and jumped onto the tarmac while the plane was taxiing. Despite the incident, the flight later departed for Madrid with a four-and-a-half hour delay.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
