300,000 pounds (about 312,000 euros) is the cost of this parking space in London - 40,000 pounds more than the average house in the UK.

For this amount, you could pay 6,240 parking fines (45 euros each).

The parking lot is five meters long and 2.3 meters wide. The future owner of this luxurious street parking space will get it for €26,087 per square metre of concrete. It comes with two bollards, a chain and some vague markings on the asphalt – but all this in one of the most prestigious areas of London.

The parking is located right next to Hyde Park, one of the largest and most famous green spaces in the country, at the address Hyde Park Gardens. However, apart from the view of the park and the privilege of parking in one of the most prestigious areas of the capital, no other comfort is provided.



Despite the exorbitant price tag, parking in this elite area is considered a “bargain” — the average cost of housing here is €9.3 million.

A three-bedroom flat is on sale for €14.8 million just a short walk from Hyde Park.

Whoever buys this elite parking space will be able to park there for the next 79 years — under a long-term 91-year lease. However, this is far from the most expensive parking in London: according to the Daily Mail, a space in an underground garage in Chelsea is on sale for £495,000.
