Chery has an electric crossover for 13 thousand dollars (13 photos)

Chery has introduced two new electric cars for the "green" Fulwin line. These are the X3 and X3 Plus crossovers, similar in appearance but differing in size and engine range. The cost of the new products starts at 89,900 yuan (equivalent to 13 thousand dollars). Electric cars are capable of fording up to 625 millimeters deep.





Both battery crossovers have a characteristic angular appearance with L-shaped lighting equipment and the same interior architecture. The dimensions of the Chery Fulwin X3 are 4327x1910x1715 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2715 millimeters. The X3 Plus is slightly longer and wider (4380x1916x1741 millimeters) with the same distance between the axles and, accordingly, should be more spacious.

The Chery Fulwin X3 will be available with only one engine on the rear axle, developing 252 hp and 300 Nm. There are two batteries, with a capacity of 50.79 and 68.36 kWh, with which the crossover will travel 401 or 520 kilometers. The same engine and a smaller battery are provided for the basic version of the X3 Plus, but this crossover will also have an all-wheel drive modification with an engine in the front, which adds 95 hp and 165 Nm. It is noteworthy that according to official data, this does not affect the power reserve: with the most capacious battery, such a crossover will travel the same 520 kilometers.

The interiors of electric cars will be equipped with a media system on the Snapdragon 8155 chip with displays with a diagonal of 9.2 and 15.6 inches. The trunk volume is from 450 to 1238 liters (with the rear seats folded).

It is also known that at the end of the month, another model will officially join the Fulwin X3 family - with the X3L index. This crossover will be even larger and will be equipped with a hybrid power plant with a power reserve of more than 1000 kilometers. Its premiere will take place on August 29 as part of the exhibition in Chengdu.
