Chery brought its new electric crossover iCar 03 to the Chinese exhibition and announced prices (27 photos)

Chery demonstrated the iCar 03 electric crossover at an exhibition in Guangzhou. The show was not a sensation, since Chery declassified this electric car at the beginning of summer, however, the company took advantage of the large exhibition to announce some missing characteristics and start pre-orders. The crossover was estimated in the range from 140 thousand to 190 thousand yuan.





Chery iCar is another attempt by the Chinese concern to create a separate line of environmentally friendly cars for the youngest buyers under the age of 35. This explains some of the expressiveness of the design of the debut model with its angular body and brutal design of the front part. At the same time, the interior of the iCar looks much more austere, although it is also made in a rectangular style. The dimensions of the electric car are 4406x1910x1715 mm with a wheelbase of 2715 mm, approach and departure angles are 26 and 29 degrees, respectively. Wheels - up to 19 inches.

In China, the Chery iCar 03 will receive two powertrain options: the basic single-engine version with a 184-horsepower engine, and the all-wheel drive version with an additional 95-horsepower engine. The minimum acceleration time to 100 km/h is 6.5 seconds. Relatively simple lithium iron phosphate batteries from CATL at 65 and 69 kWh will provide a range of up to 500 km on the CLTC cycle.

The Chery iCar 03 will be equipped with a media system with a 15.4-inch screen and an intelligent voice assistant, a digital instrument panel, an Infinity sound system with 12 speakers and a set of driver assistants, which should provide a second level of driving autonomy.

The start of official sales of Chery iCar 03 is scheduled for December 18. In 2024, an electric sedan with the TI 01 index should join the family.
