This week, the automotive community of Ukraine is buzzing with news: the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, one of the most recognizable supercars of the 80s, has arrived. The red sports car, the star of Turbo candy wrappers, with its characteristic profile and 12-cylinder engine has already managed to gather admiring glances from Ukrainian car enthusiasts.
It is believed that this is the first instance of the Testarossa that has reached Ukraine (currently Kyiv). However, history suggests otherwise. In 1988, the famous Ukrainian footballer Oleksandr Zavarov, who had then moved from Dynamo Kyiv to Juventus in Italy, was presented with a Ferrari Testarossa to celebrate his transfer. This sports car still belongs to Zavarov, and as he admitted in an interview, the car is kept in his garage in Turin, where the former footballer lives. Unfortunately, due to the state of Ukrainian roads, he never dared to bring this luxury to his native country – a fact that was recently recalled by blogger Roma Urraco.

Under the hood of the Ferrari Testarossa is a powerful 4.9-liter boxer 12-cylinder engine, which in different years developed from 370 to 390 horsepower. The mid-engine coupe is capable of reaching speeds of up to 290 km/h, accelerating to hundreds in 5.7-6 seconds. This car is painted in the company's red color Rosso Corsa and has a stylish brown interior, emphasizing its classic but timeless look.

The Ferrari Testarossa, produced from 1984 to 1991, is one of the company's most iconic models and the main competitor to the Lamborghini Countach. A total of 7,177 copies were produced, and today the average price of this legendary coupe reaches about 120,000-150,000 dollars.
