The woman was paragliding near a cable car when she had to be rescued by firefighters and police after she became entangled in cables.
She suffered burns and was examined at a local hospital.
At the same time, her accident left the city of Bariloche, southwest of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, without power.
The Bariloche Electric Cooperative said about 3,000 residents were affected by the incident, as 31 transformers were knocked out by the impact.
Power was restored soon after.
"It was a two-seater paraglider that got tangled in medium-voltage cables," said fire chief Marcelo Miocevich.
The incident occurred near the cable car.
Journalists noted that concerns had previously been expressed about the power lines being close to the paraglider landing site.
