In the USA, a child was born in the parking lot of a brewery (4 photos)
The owner of the establishment promised to provide the baby with a free supply of beer for life.
Kyle Baker from Michigan did not immediately realize that she had started labor. The woman felt severe pain in her stomach and called her husband Aaron. When he got home, Kyle's contractions intensified. The couple went to the hospital, but on the way they realized that they might not make it. Then Kyle and Aaron decided to stop in the parking lot of their favorite brewery, One Well Brewing. The woman's husband called an ambulance there.
A few moments later, before the doctors arrived, the baby was born. They named him Forrest Wells Baker, with a middle name in honor of the brewery.
“We joked that Forrest just wanted to stop by for a beer on the way to the hospital, like his dad would have,” Kyle recalls.
The brewery was also happy about Forrest’s birth. In honor of the baby, the brewery will release a special blood-orange ale. Earlier this month, Kyle and Aaron even helped mix the ingredients for the drink.
One Well Brewing owner Chris O'Neill promised Forrest he'd get free beer for life when he was old enough. "One good promise: Have a baby in a parking lot and he'll get free beer for life," he joked.
