Zeekr presented its first family electric crossover - 7X (10 photos + 1 video)
At the Chengdu Auto Show in China, Zeekr showed a new model - the first in the line of family SUVs with the 7X index. The main competitor of the electric car is the Tesla Model Y, but the Zeekr 7X will offer slightly better characteristics and more space in the cabin for less money. All technical data has been made public and the starting price has been announced - the basic version is asking 239,900 yuan. 
Zeekr 7X is based on the 800-volt version of the Geely SEA platform and has dimensions of 4825×1930×2925 mm with a wheelbase of 2925 mm - thus it is larger than Model Y. The trunk volume is 616 liters, wheels up to 20 inches are available. The appearance of the 7X is very similar to the Zeekr 007 sedan, adjusted for the body type. The electric car also retained the external LED panel Zeekr Stargate, which can display text messages or animation.
The interior of the crossover is made according to the standard patterns for the Chinese market, but has a number of features. For example, the 13-inch instrument panel is hidden under the visor, and the transmission selector, unlike other Zeekr models, is moved to the steering column. There are a minimum of physical keys in the cabin - only buttons on the steering wheel and a small panel under the central 15.05-inch display, from which it is proposed to control all the main functions. The media system received a Snapdragon 8295 chip.
Another 13-inch screen is built into the back of the front passenger seat and can be folded down. The right rear seat is equipped with a folding ottoman. A separate touch panel (again in the style of Tesla) is installed on the back of the central armrest and provides the occupants of the second row with the ability to adjust the climate, music, and the like. All seats are heated and ventilated.
The most affordable Zeekr 7X will be equipped with one electric motor with 421 hp and a 75-kilowatt Golden Brick lithium-phosphate battery. The same engine can be combined with a 100 kW⋅h battery from CATL. The top modification will receive a dual-motor installation with 646 hp. The declared power reserve is from 605 to 780 kilometers. The battery charging time from 10 to 80% is 10.5 minutes. The most powerful Zeekr 7X will accelerate to 100 km/ h in about 3 seconds with a maximum speed of 210 km/ h.
The top configurations of the crossover will additionally receive air suspension with the ability to vary the clearance from 190 to 230 mm and adaptive shock absorbers. The company has already promised that the price of the expensive 7X will not exceed 300,000 yuan. In 2025, Zeekr 7X should officially enter the European market.
