On August 11, in Alen Paraiba, Minas Gerais, an eyewitness filmed 37-year-old Karin Brock sitting in the first car of the ride behind two children. In the middle of the ride, the woman fell out. 
Karin was filming and lost her grip on the car during a sharp turn. Despite what happened, the ride continued moving and made another circle, and then stopped abruptly. 
The victim had a seizure and was rushed to a hospital in Salvador, where she received first aid. Doctors diagnosed rib fractures and a head injury. She is currently at the Mount Sinai Clinic in Juiz de Fora under the supervision of a neurosurgeon. 
Brock, a psychologist by training, said on social media: "I was immediately taken to intensive care, where I stayed for two days. When the doctor came to see me, the first thing he asked was if I believed in God. Considering the fractures, injuries and MRI results of the brain, the fact that I survived can be called a real miracle."
"I'm still in the hospital, and the date of discharge is unknown. But I feel that God is always with me. The doctor was very concerned about the head injury. Judging by the marks, the blow was strong, but fortunately, I do not need surgery yet."
The woman does not remember the moment of the fall.
According to Karin, the protective bar did not work, although she fixed it correctly.
