A woman built a two-meter house from Lego for her pets (6 photos + 1 video)
The Canadian resident has loved collecting Lego since childhood. She took it to the next level when she started making dog houses.
Lauretta Quincey received her first Lego box at age 7 and has been interested in building ever since. The 40-year-old mother of three said that she has several hundred thousand parts.
A couple of years ago, a woman decided to make her dogs Ozzy and Bailey happy and built a spacious house for them. And for this she needed her favorite designer.
Building a large kennel takes Quincy about three weeks of work, three to four hours a day.
"I don't use the dining room, so I removed the table and now this is my Lego room," she said.
The largest house was 2 m high and just over 1.5 m wide.
Lauretta's children - now aged 22, 19 and 15 - have stopped playing with Lego, but she says building things calms her down.
“I could just sit and do puzzles, but I like this much better.”
"My collection continues to grow. Every Christmas I get another box or two."
