Morgan has unveiled an updated version of its iconic Plus Four model, showcasing improved design and performance. Thus, the updated roadster stands out with a more elegant exterior, integrated turn signals in the headlights and taillights.
Notable updates include larger headlights, updated taillights, and a redesigned front splitter and diffuser with a distinctive "floating license plate base." In addition, the car received an updated nameplate and smooth aluminum rear-view mirrors. The interior features an updated LCD display, an improved Sennheiser audio system, updated lighting, and a redesigned key fob.
Buyers are offered two engine options: a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission paired with a more powerful powertrain, both producing 255 horsepower. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 5.2 seconds with a manual transmission and just 4.8 seconds with an automatic.
The new model is equipped with updated suspension components, including new springs and shock absorbers to ensure the best driving dynamics. For enthusiasts looking for additional upgrades, there is an optional Dynamic Handling Pack that includes rear traction control and single-way adjustable shock absorbers.
Morgan CEO Massimo Fumarola highlights the careful approach to updating the Plus Four, resulting in a refined, comfortable and high-quality sports car.
Starting price is £62,500. Production will begin in May.
