In the previously published pictures of the cabin, one could see that instead of separate displays on the front panel of the Sorento appeared curved tablet. This cluster combines 12.3-inch screens digital instrument cluster and a new media system that now supports updates "by air". In expensive versions, Sorento will also be equipped with 10 inch projection display.
Another, more compact, remote control also deserves attention. climate control, fingerprint scanner, built-in DVR with cameras facing forward and backward, digital rear-view mirror and the ability to use a smartphone as key.
The declared engine range of the model consists of a 2.2 turbodiesel 194 horsepower, 2.5 petrol turbo engine for 281 horsepower and hybrid power installations based on a 180-horsepower 1.6 engine and a 60-horsepower electric motor. It is noteworthy that Kia did not mention the old 2.5-liter aspirated, which Sorento is equipped with, for example, in Kazakhstan. Whether he will be removed from the lineup is not yet clear.
