A motorist compiled a dossier on 250 potholes (3 photos)
Red Marciak, 43, took photographs and recorded GPS data for each pothole along the 27 km route from home to work. He handed over the compiled dossier to officials who are in no hurry to repair the roadway.
The Briton explained that the trip to work and back was a series of obstacles to overcome. He realizes that one day he will have to pay a huge bill for vehicle repairs.
In the last year alone, he stopped three times to help other drivers whose cars were damaged by potholes.
Red spent more than six hours completing a route that would normally take 35 minutes to drive.
He said: "Roads should not be obstacle courses. This could result in someone being seriously injured or worse."
Every day it becomes more and more difficult for him to travel from Wrexham to Cholmondley, Cheshire.
He passed on the data he collected to Wrexham and Cheshire East councils.
Marciak hopes his efforts will not go unnoticed: "Now they won't be able to say they weren't informed."
