A girl with roots from Ukraine won the Miss Japan beauty contest (10 photos + 1 video)

An ethnic Ukrainian was named the most beautiful girl in Japan. 
In Japan they chose the most beautiful girl - and they did. This was Caroline Schiino. The ethnic Ukrainian moved to Japan at the age of five, when her mother married a resident of the Land of the Rising Sun. The girl works as a model, but has no Japanese roots. 
By the way, a Ukrainian woman is not the first to win a Japanese beauty contest. In 2015, the jury gave preference to Ariana Miyamoto, a girl of mixed blood. Her father is African American and her mother is Japanese. 
However, Shiino herself considers herself Japanese in spirit and is grateful for such a turn of fate.
