Concept of the new electric sports car Toyota FT-Se (4 photos)
Toyota has unveiled the sports car, which it plans to unveil later this month at the Japan Mobility Show. The first teasers show a coupe with futuristic styling that looks nothing like the GR86 or Supra. This appears to be an evolution of the Sports EV concept. It had a similar shape, orange body and black roof. Perhaps this is just a closer prototype to the production version.
Toyota FT-Se demonstrates the company's vision of supercars in the era of zero emissions. In the published photographs you can see deliberately aggressive body parts, a dynamic silhouette and some interior design elements, including digital instruments and a steering wheel.
Toyota promises to provide the coupe with innovative software that, with the help of updates, will allow the supercar to “grow with the driver.”
Toyota FT-3e has the same aggressive appearance, but a more practical body type - a low, extended crossover. It is positioned as a prototype of a new generation electric car: it is possible that this is a hint at the appearance of future battery-powered Toyota products. In addition, the concept will implement a new technology for communication between the car and the driver. External body panels are equipped with displays that can show a person approaching the car, for example, the battery charge level and the temperature in the cabin.
