At the end of January, the Unimog U1300 SE SUV will be put up for auction at Barrett-Jackson. In addition to the modifications and relatively low mileage, the car is notable for one of its previous owners. This is the famous actor and ex-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger. The auction house does not specify how much it plans to earn for the truck. 
An off-road truck with a two-door cab was assembled at the plant back in 1977. However, in 2012, it was restored and modified by the German studio Unimog Merex Mertec - it is claimed that the modifications were fully agreed upon with the actor.
For example, the Unimog was equipped with 22-inch wheels with off-road tires and an inflation system, pneumatic elements for the suspension, a winch, additional Hella light and a rear view camera. A Blaupunkt audio system appeared in the cabin. The Unimog is equipped with a 320-horsepower 6.4-liter diesel engine.
According to some reports, Schwarzenegger parted with the truck back in 2014, and since then it has changed owners several times. For example, in 2016, a car was put up for sale on eBay for $351,000. At the same time, we hardly drove the truck. Since its construction, its mileage has been 4.3 thousand kilometers, and the front panel still bears the autograph of the famous owner.
