The eccentric USSV Hamba looks like an armored car and was created specifically for “racing” (8 photos)
The American auction house Barrett-Jackson recently exhibited at selling a bizarrely modified Ford F-150. U.S. Specialty Company Vehicles (USSV) from Rancho Cucamonga, east of Los Angeles, carries responsibility for these fearlessly implemented alterations.
At the Barrett Jackson auction, which recently took place in Houston, sold an unusual SUV USSV Hamba, built by US Specialty Vehicles.
Outwardly, the amazing device with its angular shapes and matte black body color resembles stealth fighters.
US Specialty Vehicles chose an uncharacteristic body shape: this is not a standard SUV, but rather a huge hatchback with a strong sloping back and only a pair of doors.
It is based on the frame chassis of the 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck with standard V8, automatic transmission and full drive.
The car was shod in spectacular 35-inch Maxxis RAZR MT tires. At the same time, the ground clearance of the SUV is rather modest in appearance.
Inside there are chairs covered in Cherry Red leather and a large multimedia display on the dashboard, although the architecture of the front panel as a whole remained unchanged.
The production of the USSV Hamba cost six figures. It's interesting that the SUV was created for racing, but was practically not used - on its odometer is only 663 miles (1067 km).
This car was sold at auction for $55,000.
