A 7-year-old child, distracted by his phone, fell onto the subway tracks.
In the Czech capital of Prague, a 7-year-old boy walking while looking at his phone fell onto the subway tracks. Other passengers rescued him just seconds before the train arrived.
The incident occurred on September 2 at around 6:00 p.m. at the Muzeum subway station. According to police, the child, who was accompanied by a family member, did not notice he was walking toward the tracks because he was distracted by his phone.
The boy suddenly lost his balance and fell onto the tracks. At that moment, a foreign passenger jumped onto the tracks to save him. Other passengers also rushed to help, pulling the child up onto the platform in just a few seconds.
An emergency stop button located on the edge of the platform also played a crucial role in saving the child's life. Once it was pressed, the approaching subway train was brought to a stop.
After police officers arrived, the child, who sustained minor injuries, was handed over to paramedics and taken to the hospital.
