A heavily modified Peterbilt tow truck from the 2019 film Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw is up for sale. The truck cost $285,000 to build. Since the film, it has been used in advertising campaigns and currently has 1,900 miles on it and is road legal.
This truck is based on a Chevrolet Suburban chassis equipped with a Peterbilt body. Under the hood roars a 6.2-liter Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine producing 525 hp. and a torque of 425 Nm, paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Despite the cinematic fakery in the form of turbine sleeves and simulated oversized wheels, the car boasts such real elements as adjustable shock absorbers, powerful disc brakes and a multi-link suspension necessary for performing stunt maneuvers.
